Strawberry Patch Birthday

When I got hired to make 60 cupcakes and a 6" round cake for a little girl's first birthday I couldn't think of anything funner than little strawberries and flowers. I decided to make the mini fondant strawberries in two shades of pink to emphasize the feminine look. Frosting the vanilla and chocolate cupcakes in white and light pink made for the perfect backdrop for the fondant flowers with pearl centers and independent fondant leaves completed the look. A berry happy birthday!

Lovely Ladybugs

Pink ladybugs, they are everywhere! I completed this project consisting of 60 cupcakes and a 6" round cake for a baby's first birthday. There were three different cupcakes styles, each a different yummy flavor. By making the ladybugs pink rather than red they were much more feminine and so adorable. This project just made me smile the whole time I was working on it!

Spring Daisy Cookies

These lovely daisies were in honor of my friend's 28th birthday. This clump of a dozen blooms was my first attempt at a cookie bouquet on lollipop sticks. I had seen pictures but never tried creating one so I seized the opportunity to make this springy basket full of cheerfulness. Each large cookie was individually wrapped for freshness and could be given individually or in a group.
